Our take on FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves
Rather than limiting progression to standalone fights, the game adds a solo RPG structure in which battles under different conditions provide experience, rewards, levels, and skills. Its two control schemes also depart from the usual single-input model by offering a simplified option alongside technical commands.
What is FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves?
City of the Wolves is a fighting game built around the REV System.
While the REV Meter has not overheated, combatants can use offensive techniques including REV Arts, REV Accel, and REV Blows. Two control options are available: Arcade Style uses precise technical commands, while Smart Style simplifies special attacks and combo execution through directional commands paired with individual buttons. The solo Episodes of South Town mode adds role-playing elements, sending fighters into matches with changing conditions to gain experience and prizes, raise their level, and configure abilities.
This is the first Fatal Fury installment since GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES arrived in 1999. Episodes of South Town needs an online connection and a game update before it can be accessed.
