Our take on Brawlout
The store presentation leads with ranked online play and competitive tournaments, but the listed structure also centers on couch matches, party formats, AI practice, tutorials, Arcade Towers, and Trials. That makes the game’s competitive framing only part of its described scope.
What is Brawlout?
Brawlout is a platform fighting game that combines jumping and movement-based combat with mechanics from traditional fighters.
Matches support couch play and online multiplayer, with Timed, Stock, Team, free-for-all, and Party formats for up to four players. The roster includes six original characters and four guest characters, while three alternate Variants for each original fighter bring the total to 25 fighters. Variants can change statistics, clothing, and moves. Combat includes wavedashing, airdodging, and a Rage Meter that enables either a combo-breaking burst or a mode that changes knockback dealt and received. Players can practice with AI opponents and advanced tutorials, or play Arcade Towers and Trials.
