What is The Gunk?
Play as Rani, a space hauler searching an untouched planet for valuable resources alongside another crew member.
Exploration leads through jungle regions and caves while uncovering traces of a shattered civilization and confronting a toxic parasite called the gunk. Rani’s Power Glove removes the corruption, restores plant life, and opens routes into deeper parts of the ecosystem. The world changes as nature returns. Challenges combine quick reactions with problem-solving, while the story follows the crew’s relationship through ongoing radio contact. The game presents its mystery through exploration, environmental change, hidden history, atmospheric music, and an evocative visual style.
