Our take on The Fall
The store presentation gives prominent space to the story, voice acting, and awards, while the game’s limited scope is less prominent. The Fall lasts 3–5 hours and is Part 1 of a larger saga, with its story continuing in a separate sequel.
What is The Fall?
Play as ARID, the artificial intelligence inside a high-tech combat suit, after the suit crashes on an unknown planet with its pilot unconscious and failing.
Explore dark ruins with a flashlight, investigate interactive objects, and encounter hostile machines. Progress combines adventure-game investigation with item-based puzzles shaped by ARID’s operating rules. Combat takes place in side-scrolling sequences using the suit’s laser sight. The fully voice-acted story follows ARID’s efforts to protect her pilot while the rules governing that mission become obstacles to her decisions. The Fall is Part 1 of the saga and lasts 3–5 hours, with the story continuing in The Fall Part 2: Unbound.
