Our take on The Dew
Rather than treating puzzles as isolated exercises, the game uses them to present a dewdrop’s account of an old conflict. Its structure replaces a conventional action-driven war scenario with arrow-key challenges whose rules develop across the levels.
What is The Dew?
The Dew is a story-focused puzzle game in which players take the role of a dewdrop called Dew Number 17.
Its levels portray past wars between black and white and gradually reveal a neglected truth. Movement takes place in a simple environment using only the arrow keys. As the game progresses, each level introduces additional rules, changing the challenges and requiring combinations of earlier and newer tactics. The structure centers on solving every puzzle while following the dewdrop’s return and investigating what lies beyond the old conflict.
How The Dew plays

- 02Changing level rules
- Later stages add new rules that alter the challenges and interact with tactics introduced earlier.
- 03Arrow-key control
- The game uses a simple environment controlled through the arrow keys.
