Our take on Cheese Moon
The dramatic conspiracy framing gives the game an expansive tone, while the stated structure is a compact stage-clearing adventure: 5 worlds, 100 stages, clone summoning, combat, and companion combinations. The setting and mystery are emphasized more strongly than the moment-to-moment stage design.
What is Cheese Moon?
Cheese Moon follows Pio, a rabbit living on the far side of a moon that has mysteriously become cheese.
Pio and other rabbits travel by flying saucer, explore the moon, fight hostile cheese creatures, and confront machines marked “RTMK. ” Players summon rabbit copies to clear stages and uncover the moon’s hidden story. The game contains 5 worlds with 20 stages each, for 100 stages in total. As the story advances, 11 rabbits can join the group. Each companion has distinct abilities and a personality, and the rabbits can be combined to face enemies. Conversations with the companions reveal how they understand and interact with the world.
