Dungeon adventures often center on surviving a descent and collecting treasure; here, each trip also carries a rescue deadline. The role is not simply that of an explorer: the player enters as a recovery agent, balancing personal survival against the risk that stranded adventurers will become undead.
What is The Dead End?
The Dead End is a top-down dungeon survival adventure about recovering adventurers from a place where the dead rise.
Hunger and thirst build during each descent, while fallen adventurers have limited time before the curse turns them into zombies. Combat uses positioning and tools such as bombs, fire, and a sword. Traps, lighting, and dungeon tools shape exploration, and recovered spoils can be brought back to the surface. The story follows a new Rescuer asked to retrieve a Holy Maiden’s corpse, with choices about the request and the dungeon’s mystery. The game combines dungeon exploration with real-time rescue deadlines and survival management.
