What is The Candle?
After a mysterious spirit asks for help, explore a dilapidated manor and search drawers for loot while avoiding four distinct monsters.
The candle burns in real time for up to 4 hours and cannot be lit again after going out. Reaching the hidden chamber is part of the manor quest. At the county carnival, six minigames offer tickets that can be exchanged for prizes. Encounters with the remaining characters can lead to alliances or rivalries. Controls cover movement, sprinting, interaction, inventory, inspection, throwing or firing weapons, and blowing out the candle. The game is rated R and combines supernatural exploration, monster avoidance, scavenging, carnival activities, and social choices.
