Our take on Tetris® Forever
The collection’s scope is broader than a new standalone Tetris release: much of its content comes from historical games and documentary featurettes. Tetris Time Warp supplies the new material, while the overall package remains centered on preservation and comparison across eras.
What is Tetris® Forever?
Tetris Forever brings together more than 15 playable games from Tetris history, including an Electronika 60 recreation, Tetris Battle Gaiden, and Super Bombliss.
The collection also includes Tetris Time Warp, a new mode where up to four players move between Tetris eras during real-time play, with changing visual styles and mechanics. More than an hour of documentary featurettes covers the relationship between Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov and The Tetris Company founder Henk Rogers. The collection includes games released outside Japan for the first time, alongside versions that represent different points in the series’ history. Multiplayer play is available in Tetris Battle Gaiden and Tetris Time Warp.
