Our take on TetraLogical
The game trades broad genre variety for repeated analysis of board positions, scoring opportunities, and opponent blocks. Its editor and many layouts add scope, but the central placement loop remains the focus across its modes.
What is TetraLogical?
TetraLogical is a turn-based strategy game built around placing tetramino pieces on board layouts.
Each move aims to maximize the current piece’s score, while players can also block opponents or force the game toward its end. Solo play includes standard, timed, Blitz, Limited Moves, and Puzzle modes. Versus matches support up to three CPU or human opponents, with relaxed and timed options. The game includes more than 100 layouts, 90-plus Puzzle layouts, 21 CPU opponents, a level editor for creating up to 500 layouts, and a once-per-game Downfall mechanic. Leaderboards, stats, achievements, and a jukebox with 14 music tracks add tracking and customization around the board-based matches.
