Rather than confining physics puzzles to isolated test rooms, TesserAct places them across the remains of a research station. Its central convention break is combining traversal abilities with an explorable facility and a stardrive crisis.
What is TesserAct?
TesserAct centers on Sam Tanner, a university student mysteriously transported to the deteriorating Heywood-Bowman facility.
There she discovers the Catalyst, an instrument that briefly alters the laws of physics. Its effects let Sam traverse liquid surfaces, ascend water as it falls, increase her speed, and suspend airborne items that can serve as temporary platforms. She uses these powers to investigate the station, work through environmental puzzles, and seek a path home. Far within the complex, a failing prototype stardrive endangers the fabric of space and time. Concealed terminals expand on the setting’s scientific ideas and social history, while distinct sections expose the research station’s damaged systems. The adventure blends traversal, puzzles, and exploration.
