Our take on Tennis Fighters
Rather than treating tennis as a purely sporting simulation, the game adds combat-style health, damage, energy, and special shots. Its match structure also includes timed world-tour rounds and local split-screen competition, replacing a standard rules-focused presentation with arcade fighting elements.
What is Tennis Fighters?
Tennis Fighters combines tennis mechanics with fighting-game elements.
Points deal damage to an opponent, while health and power bars shape each match. Players control shot power, direction, and curve, and earn Fighter Energy through points, aces, and breakpoints to activate Super Shots with top power and perfect accuracy. Single-player modes include Academy lessons, a timed World Tour against the game's fighters, and Training matches against adjustable AI or the Robot character. Local multiplayer supports one-versus-one split-screen matches. Options include camera views, courts, daytime settings, AI level, aiming sensitivity, audio, music, and crowd settings. The game includes 5 Tennis Fighters, a Tennis Robot controlled by AI, and 6 stadiums with 3 daytime settings each.
