Our take on Technicity
The listing emphasizes the map’s scale and freedom to build, while the described activities center on construction, terrain editing, and shared creations. It gives little detail about city-management systems or structured objectives, making player-built places the main focus.
What is Technicity?
Technicity is a first-person city-building game where players construct buildings, design blocks and furniture, and shape an open world.
Cranes and cement mixers speed up building, while bulldozers and steamrollers can alter terrain, including creating or removing mountains. The map covers 384 km² and has an existing road network; roads built by players connect to the navigation system. Factories produce custom blocks, items, and furniture, including usable creations such as opening garage doors, illuminated signs, and vehicles. Buildings can be saved as schematics for construction elsewhere. Players can share schematics and use community-made buildings, item designs, and maps from the Steam Workshop. Worlds support solo play and co-op, with friends joining to build cities or role-play.
