What is NewCity?
NewCity is a city-building simulation in which one mayor directs development, finances, roads, amenities, and responses to economic trouble.
Growth can progress from a rural town toward a metropolitan center, while individual citizens and businesses can be followed through their work, leisure, and home routines. Road upgrades and highway layouts shape traffic flow, and parks, museums, and schools support population growth and tax revenue. The budget requires planning, emergency fixes, sustainable expansion, and repayment of bank credit. A building designer provides tools for creating an original city or recreating an existing one. Rather than using alien attacks as disasters, the game focuses on problems such as economic recession.
