What is Tamagoneko?
Tamagoneko is a 2D platformer in which a small white cat crosses seven worlds to recover escaped kitten eggs.
The game includes more than 160 handcrafted levels set across plains, deserts, and crystal caverns, with new mechanics introduced in different areas. Movement includes jumping, crawling, wall climbing, and double jumps. Saws, spikes, pits, falling platforms, balloons, and stompers create hazards and traversal challenges, while coins indicate routes through levels. Players can collect secret fruit in every level, complete achievements, and spend coins on more than 50 skins, trails, and effects. The game records times for individual levels and the full run, supporting speedrunning.
