Our take on TAIKER
The defining mechanic is Peggy’s marking system: marked targets support rapid movement that can serve either as an evasive maneuver or as a way to rush into attack range. It gives movement a direct role in both positioning and combat.
What is TAIKER?
TAIKER follows Peggy, a female warrior, and Chopy, her robot assistant, through several areas in a platforming RPG adventure.
Exploration includes puzzles, items, and skill upgrades that expand Peggy’s abilities. Combat uses a marking mechanic that lets her move very quickly to evade attacks or approach targets, while skill combinations provide higher rewards. Enemy types have different abilities, and groups of enemies increase combat difficulty. The game also includes pet-assisted fighting, challenging bosses, and multiple endings. Peggy’s growth depends on learning how to use abilities effectively in battle. A controller is recommended for play.
