Our take on Taco Tom 2
The likely sticking point is the duplicate-ingredient rule: collecting two of the same type counts as a mistake, so a missed pickup or poorly timed dash can disrupt a run. The difficulty also reaches extremely hard levels, which may be where players who rely on a forgiving pace stop progressing.
What is Taco Tom 2?
Collect ingredients falling from above, taking exactly one of each of the five types to complete a taco; picking up a duplicate counts as a mistake.
Time can be sped up or slowed down, and a dash move passes through solid objects to reach ingredients. The story follows Tom after his girlfriend Sally dies and he becomes interested in Sapphire, a squid; making tacos moves the story forward. The game has 90 levels across 10 worlds, with difficulty ranging from easy to extremely hard. Practice Mode supports route planning, while Arcade, Speedrun, Endurance, and Wacky modes provide additional formats. It also includes local two-player battles and leaderboards for each world.
