Our take on Survive: The king killer
Its defining constraint is the one-life structure: death removes the current run and sends the player back to the start, even while hired soldiers continue following the player after death.
What is Survive: The king killer?
Survive: The king killer is an open-world survival game built around a single-life rule: death sends the character back to the beginning.
Exploration can use either first- or third-person view. Players gather wood, plants, rocks, flowers, and mushrooms; craft items and potions; trade with merchants; and construct a customizable home from building parts and interior objects. The player chooses a team, hires soldiers, and plans attacks against opposing kings. Animals can be tamed, controlled, and played as. Killing a castle king opens that castle for unrestricted exploration and trading, while a replacement king from the chosen team expands the land claim. Survival includes health, hunger, thirst, warmth, stamina, and strength.
