As the Crimson Ninja, players race a 30-second countdown while moving down a lethal tower. Its floors are generated from 230 custom rooms, 100 of them new to this edition, and contain enemies, hazards, weapons, item upgrades, and eight bosses among 52 enemy types. A separate tower, Transdimensional Leakage, offers another area to explore. The game also has leaderboards, Steam achievements, widescreen support, and native controller support. A map editor lets players create levels and share them through Steamworks. Ninja colors and outfits can be mixed into thousands of combinations.
