ActionIs Super Head Ball worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Local multiplayer groups seeking short 2v2 action matches
- Players who enjoy physics-based throws and aerial movement
- Friends who want arena experimentation without a complex control scheme
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a solo campaign, narrative progression, or role-playing systems may hit a wall at the team-match structure.
- Players who want slow, methodical rounds may bounce off the fast exchanges, frequent deaths, and chaotic arena hazards.
- Groups without local multiplayer partners cannot use the game's 2v2 team format as intended.
Our take on Super Head Ball
The bounce point arrives when basic jumping and shooting stop being enough. Players must learn double-jumps, head rebounds, gravity shots, alley-oops, and friendly-fire avoidance to compete, so the simple controls lead into a demanding mastery curve.
What is Super Head Ball?
Super Head Ball is a local action game for four participants, structured around 2v2 contests.
Warrior teams try to score by sending a severed head toward a burning altar, using jumping, extra jumps, shooting, wall rebounds, gravity-based shots, and alley-oop passes. The head can be handed to a teammate, turned into a projectile, or combined with arena elements, though teammates must avoid hitting one another. Over 20 arenas span three settings, including a Temple containing frogs that consume heads and a Space Station with areas where characters run along ceilings. Rounds emphasize rapid exchanges and experimenting with movement and physics. Optional trick shots offer creative ways to demonstrate control of the mechanics without changing the score.
How Super Head Ball plays
- 01Local Team Matches
- Four players can form two teams and coordinate passes, bounces, and alley-oops in 2v2 games.
- 02Arena Hazards
- More than 20 arenas across three environments include features such as head-eating frogs and ceiling-running sections.
- 03Advanced Ball Physics
- Wall rebounds, gravity shots, double-jumps, and other techniques create different ways to send the head toward the pyre.
- 04Trick Shot Play
- Players can attempt creative throws to demonstrate mechanical control, though these shots do not provide extra points.
