What is Sunshine Shuffle?
Sunshine Shuffle combines Texas Hold ’Em with a narrative adventure about the Morning Shift, a group of working-class animals involved in a bank robbery and a conflict with the Fishie Mob.
The story unfolds during card games, while additional conversations reveal the crew’s lives before and after forming the heist group. Winning hands earns tokens to decorate the S. S. Sunshine with items such as light fixtures, chairs, card decks, plastic skeletons, fish bowls, and a dice-themed carpet. The game features talking animal characters, a neo-noir story, and an original ska soundtrack from Skatune Network and RJ Lake. One character is Fidelius, a seadog with an eyepatch.
