What is SugarMill?
SugarMill is a sandbox village-building game set during the early European settlement of the Caribbean.
Players manage families, buildings, supplies, production chains, trade, transportation, and settlement needs. Products can expire, residents require water, and goods such as tools, containers, clothing, furniture, and utensils are consumed through daily activities. A port supports imports and exports, while port reputation affects ship visits. Pirate threat can lead to defeat and can be reduced by constructing military buildings. The game includes more than 50 buildings and more than 80 products, with horse-drawn transport for moving larger quantities. Settlement happiness depends on food variety, religion, leisure, housing, education, and access to household goods.
