Rather than repeating the same New Game+ sequence, the game introduces new groups of stronger bosses in later reincarnations. Its default turn order also gives enemies the opening move, with preemptive commands as the stated way to act first.
What is 磨难之间 SUFFERING: Reincarnation of Sins?
SUFFERING is a 2D turn-based RPG in which players defeat seven sinners held captive in a chamber called the Room of Suffering, seeking a truth hidden in darkness.
Enemies take their turns first unless players use a preemptive command. Before each fight, players select weapons, abilities, and items, then time attacks to break enemy defenses. Reaching the Overkill damage threshold starts Killing Time. Defeating sinners grants Sinsouls that can be used in play. Rather than replaying the same New Game+ sequence, each reincarnation brings a different group of stronger bosses. Story, Death, and Challenge modes are available; Nightmare and Custom modes are planned.
