Our take on Streamer's Court
The game prioritizes live audience interaction over solo play. That design makes the chat part of every case, but leaves the experience dependent on an available Twitch audience and its willingness to submit defenses and vote.
What is Streamer's Court?
A Twitch chat interaction game places a streamer in the role of judge.
The game assigns a crime to a viewer or, when no viewer is available, an NPC. The suspect presents a defense through chat, after which the streamer chooses guilty or not guilty. Other viewers then vote on the verdict. Reputation changes when the streamer's decision differs from or matches the audience vote, and a leaderboard shows the top 10 streamers by reputation. Viewers do not need to buy the game to participate, but a Twitch account is required for play. The game supports multiple languages, with additional languages planned by the vendor.
How Streamer's Court plays
- 01Chat-based court cases
- Viewer suspects receive assigned crimes and submit their defenses through Twitch chat.
- 02Audience verdict voting
- Viewers other than the suspect cast a separate guilty or not-guilty decision after the streamer rules.
- 03Reputation leaderboard
- The game changes reputation according to agreement with the audience and displays the top 10 streamers.
- 04NPC case fallback
- An NPC appears as the suspect when no viewer is available.
