Our take on STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga
The focus on commanding large armies and managing resources leaves less room for character-driven play or individual-unit progression. Its scenario editor broadens the possible setups, but the core experience remains centered on real-time battlefield control.
What is STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga?
Command armies from six Star Wars factions in real-time strategy battles across terrestrial, aquatic, aerial, and asteroid environments.
The game includes single-player campaigns, skirmishes, multiplayer matches, and a Clone Campaigns expansion with 14 missions based on Episode II. Choose the Galactic Republic or the Confederacy of Independent Systems in that expansion, or play as the Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Wookies, Trade Federation, Gungans, or Royal Naboo. Battles can contain up to 200 units per side, including Jedi, droids, bounty hunters, and vehicles. Resource management and technology upgrades shape each faction’s approach. A Scenario Editor supports custom single-player and multiplayer campaigns using Star Wars units and settings.

STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga compared to similar games
STAR WARS™ Galactic Battlegrounds Saga centers on faction-based real-time battles, resource management, campaigns, skirmishes, and custom scenarios. Anomaly: Warzone Earth also combines action and strategy, but uses a reversed tower-defense structure in which players direct forces against alien-built turrets rather than command Star Wars armies across land, sea, and air.
