This turn-based 4X strategy game combines colony management with tactical fleet conflicts against aliens and rival factions. Manage the economy, political relationships, and technology research while using treaties, spies, trade, and military force to expand. Research unlocks new ships, weapons, and technologies, while exploration reveals secrets across the galaxy. The game includes six classic factions, three additional Great Clan factions, nine ship design types, all maps, and the full technology tree. Map sizes and difficulty levels can be customized. Included content also covers the Alta Mesa and Hyperion ship skin packs, with no chargeable DLC.
