Our take on Heroes of Steel RPG
The bounce point arrives during party construction and combat planning: players who do not want to assign attributes, select talent paths, compare equipment, and combine abilities may find the tactical systems demanding before the campaign’s battles become the main obstacle.
What is Heroes of Steel RPG?
Lead a party of four distinct heroes through a turn-based tactical RPG set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world.
Each character has separate talents, abilities, and powers, while equipment, attributes, skills, and talent paths shape the group’s combat approach. Battles involve choosing ability combinations and tactics against varied enemies, with adjustable difficulty and an easier playthrough available. The campaign includes four story episodes, numerous dungeons and towns, new enemy types, and hundreds of weapons, items, and gear pieces.
The fourth episode adds more than 20 hours of gameplay. The story follows survivors living beneath the surface in the Underdeep as the party investigates threats to humanity’s remaining settlements. Free updates have added chapters, characters, and other changes over more than five years.
