Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking long-form progression may hit a wall once the two stacking challenges have been exhausted.
- Those who struggle with fast reactions or precise hand movements may hit a wall as Balance Challenge becomes progressively harder.
- Players looking for a broad strategy system beyond tower construction and block balancing may find the scope narrow.
- Users seeking immediate Steam achievements or global leaderboards may need to wait for the listed planned features.
Our take on Stack
The bounce point arrives in Balance Challenge when falling blocks must be placed quickly on the handheld platform. As the mode gets harder, players who cannot maintain precise timing will face the main obstacle, while Height Challenge offers a slower tower-building alternative.
What is Stack?
Stack is a casual strategy game offering two play modes.
Height Challenge has players place cubes to raise a structure until it loses stability and falls; special pieces can assist with greater construction. In Balance Challenge, blocks drop onto a portable platform, and a specified quantity must be arranged to continue. Clean sequences award score multipliers, while the mode becomes harder over time. A statistics screen records results. Movement can use a grab-based method or sliding and touch input, and an optional tutorial introduces the controls. Graphics can be adjusted for VR-capable computers. Steam leaderboards, Oculus Touch compatibility, and Steam achievements are identified as planned additions.
