Rather than centering its turn-based structure on conventional attacks alone, the game ties spell effects to a token system shared with potions, environments, character traits, and special abilities. It also combines the journey with party management and expansion of a base citadel.
What is Spire of Sorcery?
Spire of Sorcery is a turn-based strategy game about three mages journeying across Rund after answering a summons from the awakened Spire.
The Steam version contains 4 story chapters and is not planned to receive further updates. Its spell system uses tokens that can stack, change form, and combine, linking spells with potions, environments, character traits, and special abilities. Each chapter brings new regions and opponents, while exploration reveals locations, resources, recipes, and equipment. Players make campaign choices, meet tribes, and take side quests. The party can be assembled and expanded with new members; mage stats, traits, specializations, spellbooks, moods, and appearances can be managed. Rooms added to the Spire unlock mechanics. The vendor recommends trying the demo before purchase.
