- Players seeking a pure tower defense game may not want the mix of strategy, RPG, and luck elements.
Our take on Spellinkers
The battlefield is regenerated from elemental tiles, making the layout a changing part of each encounter rather than a fixed arena.
What is Spellinkers?
Spellinkers blends tactical, tower-defense, role-playing, and luck-driven elements.
As a summoner and commander of war mages, players direct fire-, water-, wind-, and earth-aligned mages and spellinkers. Each encounter uses a newly arranged field of elemental tiles, requiring strategies to adapt to changing layouts. Units can cast spells or join forces for linked attacks against sizable homunculus armies. Victories increase the commander’s strength throughout a campaign focused on pursuing Midas, a deranged villain who took the Philosopher’s Stone. The journey crosses a world whose Ivory Tower spellcasters depend on the commander to retrieve the stolen artifact.
How Spellinkers plays
- 01Elemental Command
- The units players command are associated with fire, water, wind, or earth.
- 02Changing Battlefields
- Each encounter uses a randomly generated arrangement of elemental tiles.
- 03Linked Attacks
- Units can combine their attacks as an alternative to casting spells.
- 04Campaign Progression
- The battles advance a pursuit of Midas and the stolen Philosopher's Stone.
