Career play includes team creation, player upgrades, transfers, formations, and competition for the Speedball Intergalactic Champions League. The game includes 28 teams, 336 players, six arenas, and more than 20 power-ups. Local multiplayer supports two players at once, with custom tournaments for teams of up to eight players. Keyboard and gamepad controls are supported.
