Our take on Spaceflux
The unusual map geometry is the main draw, but the advertised variety centers on six space types and 10 maps. The multiplayer is deathmatch, while the solo option is wave survival; the page does not describe a campaign or a shared co-op mode.
What is Spaceflux?
Spaceflux is a first-person arena shooter built around maps that loop, mirror, contain smaller versions of themselves, or connect through portals.
In multiplayer deathmatches, 2–4 players fight across copies of the arena, where hitting an opponent’s copy counts as a kill. The game includes 10 destructible maps and abilities such as changing gravity, creating decoys, and disguising as a box. Solo play is a survival horde mode with endless waves of enemies across the different impossible spaces. Players can also enable a psychedelic mode and use cosmetic gun skins for all 10 weapons. Multiplayer supports online and split-screen play, with peer-to-peer matchmaking, and the game supports controllers and Steam Deck.
