What is Space Scavenger?
Space Scavenger is an action roguelike about constructing and controlling spaceships across alien-infested galaxies.
Players fight enemies, explore planets, and collect ship parts while searching for a former home. Ship layouts and combat capabilities can be changed during a run by adding weapons, defensive systems, and utility modules, including unusual equipment such as slingshots and ion cannons. Runs use procedurally generated levels and permanent death, while increasingly difficult stages raise the pressure. Ammunition and energy must be monitored during expeditions and battles. An online daily challenge gives all participants the same prerequisites, then ranks their scores and shows their ship designs in a shared lobby.
