What is Space Reign?
Space Reign combines ship-to-ship combat, fleet management, and real-time strategy elements in a near-future conflict over territory and resources.
Players represent a corporation, complete randomized contracts, claim sectors, and face progressively more difficult enemies. Any ship in the fleet can be controlled directly, with switching available at any time. Fighters are flown from a first-person cockpit view, while large ships use a third-person perspective. An RTS-like view provides ship-by-ship fleet orders. Players can buy ships and customize their weapon loadouts for different roles or a focused playstyle. Conquest sectors add control points and defensive construction to the available objectives.
