Our take on Plastic Battlegrounds
The game moves beyond the usual distant strategy viewpoint by placing the player inside a toy battlefield or above it at life size. Custom scenario construction and destructible surroundings make battlefield preparation part of the play structure.
What is Plastic Battlegrounds?
Plastic Battlegrounds is a toy-based battle simulator with customizable sandbox encounters and objective-focused modes.
Players arrange units, vehicles, emplacements, hazards, and spawn points before starting a scenario. They can enter the battle as a plastic soldier or observe the action from a life-sized viewpoint. Available equipment includes toy jeeps and drones fitted with explosives or machine guns. Combat can damage brick fortifications and the surrounding virtual living space. Sandbox sessions support different setups for each playthrough. An experimental Conquest mode tasks teams with holding most capture points to win. The game is in very early development, with further work still planned.
