Our take on Space Ducks: The great escape
The colorful space setting and duck characters give the game a broad adventure framing, but the actual activity is tightly focused on Sokoban-like movement puzzles. The central appeal is sequencing and gravity manipulation across individual planets, rather than open-ended travel or a large collection of gameplay systems.
What is Space Ducks: The great escape?
Space Ducks: The great escape is a puzzle adventure about a tribe of duck-people searching for a stable world.
Each stage requires moving the ducks in a particular order so they can reach the power source needed to leave their planet. Loose ground can launch objects into space, and one duck’s movement may endanger another. Gravity becomes part of the puzzle as players alter each planet’s layout and coordinate the group’s actions. The game includes 18+ puzzle planets across three biomes, with retro-style art, dark humor, and original music. It is one of nine puzzle games in the CosmOS 9 bundle.
