Rather than using a conventional combat-led space adventure, the game places its rescue narrative inside a Match 3 format. Planet-to-planet travel, power-ups, and minigames replace the exploration and fighting systems commonly associated with science-fiction quests.
What is Galact Quest?
A Match 3 adventure follows a research-flight rescue mission after a partner and crew vanish into a wormhole.
Guided by a distorted radio transmission, the protagonist travels across the galaxy with the companion C5-PX. The journey includes extraterrestrial dangers, helpful aliens, power-ups, minigames, and a choice between male and female protagonists. The game spans 10 planets, with 100 story levels and 100 bonus levels. Atmospheric music accompanies the interplanetary route as the protagonist searches for the missing crew. The rescue story provides the structure for movement between planets and the progression through the game's challenges.
