The Plague Doctor can inflict pain or prevent time from moving, while Dalu and Lara also inhabit the asylum. Lara’s story of abuse and loneliness receives a larger role than in the first game. Players can run and hide, but must also face unknown threats and uncover the place’s story and its inhabitants. The asylum changes in response to the player’s presence, and some evil can be confined.
