SONIC WINGS REUNION is an arcade shooter in which Project Blue confronts Fata Morgana, a mysterious group that directs the world’s military stockpile through unexplained technology.

The campaign contains eight levels, including bonus missions, across present-day cities and other contemporary settings. Large, futuristic armaments from the earlier title return. Character pairings alter the story, while two-player local sessions change dialogue sequences that are also playable alone. Players can choose among three audio options, difficulty settings, invulnerability, training, and further configuration choices. The game also includes achievements, rankings, and cloud-based save support.
