What is Solbane?
Solbane is a boss-rush space shooter that combines bullet-hell combat with RPG customization and a story set across the solar system.
The campaign features 14 bosses, each built around different mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses that call for changes in strategy, play style, and ability selection. Players choose among three pilots—the Aggressor, Valkyrie, and Architect—and assemble builds from more than 50 abilities with hundreds of possible combinations. Builds can shift combat toward close-range attacks, rapid fire, drones, or other approaches. The Aggressor can use a rotating hammer for melee combat, while the Architect can generate drones that add projectiles to attacks. Progression centers on adapting spacecraft abilities to each encounter.
