The game replaces chess's usual competitive structure with obstacle-based puzzles. Its central departure is allowing pieces to be pushed into positions that ordinary chess movement would not permit, while each level focuses on removing the white pieces.
What is SokoChess Black?
SokoChess Black combines chess with Sokoban-style puzzle mechanics across 70 handcrafted levels.
Each level requires capturing all the white pieces while overcoming obstacles. Players can move their own pieces and push them into positions they could not normally reach through chess movement. The game adds puzzle elements that do not appear in conventional chess, creating a different type of board challenge. Infinite undos allow moves to be reversed during attempts, and any level can be skipped. The objective remains focused on clearing the white pieces from each individual level.
