Our take on Sokoban: The RPG
Its defining structure is a battle-free RPG built around more than 100 block-pushing puzzles, with the narrative and riddles unfolding between progressively harder Sokoban layouts.
What is Sokoban: The RPG?
This RPG combines more than 100 classic block-pushing puzzles with no combat.
Players move from beginner arrangements to demanding later stages, and a feature for skipping puzzles and returning to them supports revisiting unsolved challenges. Additional logic problems expand the investigation, with optional provisional clues. Lewis awakens without knowing how she became confined, accompanied by Tom and possessing only her own name. Obscure written clues gradually expose details about the situation. Themes include self-sacrifice and hopelessness, alongside discoverable characters and several possible conclusions. The game includes a bespoke instrumental score of over 25 complete pieces, each associated with particular puzzle settings. Windows players can select one of two art presentations.
