Our take on Sliding Blocks
The focus on fixed-board movement keeps each challenge centered on planning and sequencing, but leaves little room for free-form exploration or character-driven progression. Its four difficulty settings provide range within the same puzzle format rather than changing the underlying style of play.
What is Sliding Blocks?
Sliding Blocks is a single-player puzzle game built around moving blocks on a board.
The orange block must reach the exit while other pieces are shifted out of its path. Horizontal blocks move sideways, and vertical blocks move up or down, so each level requires planning the order and direction of movements. The game includes four difficulty settings: Beginner, Medium, Hard, and Master, with hundreds of levels. Locked blocks, teleportation portals, and pressure plates add obstacles to some puzzles. Players can undo moves and use power-ups such as block-shifting tools, time bonuses, hints, and solutions. Levels use settings including ancient temples, dungeons, futuristic cities, and enchanted forests. The game also includes sound effects and online multiplayer matches.
