Our take on Skybreakers
Rather than centering on a fixed adventure path, Skybreakers uses roguelike repetition: randomized bonuses, map elements, and build combinations reshape each run. Its character weapons also alter core attacks, making combat configuration part of the genre structure rather than a separate progression layer.
What is Skybreakers?
Skybreakers is an action roguelike built around fast combat and repeated exploration.
Players select one of four characters, each with nine weapons that change how attacks work. Builds combine talents, abilities, artifacts, random weapon bonuses, and bonds, while attack effects can alter Basic Attacks, Dashes, and Ultimates with damage, teleportation, disruption, or buffs. Random map elements and weapon bonuses vary each run. Resources and secret arts support progression through increasingly difficult levels, where custom builds face waves of monsters and bosses. The game presents its fantastical setting in an ink-wash painting style and includes multiple combat approaches across its character and weapon combinations.
