ActionIs Sky Survivors worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Roguelite fans who want to assemble a different skill build each run
- Arena-shooter players who enjoy fighting recurring monster hordes
- Players who prefer choosing between standard and modified modes
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a slower pace may hit a wall when monster and projectile speed rise in Bullet Hell mode.
- Players seeking a story-led campaign may find the repeated arena combat and build selection too focused on runs.
- Players who want climbing, exploration, or puzzle-focused play may prefer a different structure.
Our take on Sky Survivors
The sharpest friction point is Bullet Hell: faster monsters and projectiles arrive alongside increased damage on both sides. Players who rely on a forgiving pace may bounce when that mode shifts the run toward quicker, more punishing encounters.
What is Sky Survivors?
Sky Survivors is an arena shooter roguelite where players choose skills, weapons, and characters to fight waves of monsters.
More than 100 skills offer different build options, including elemental magic, weapon-focused attacks, and summoned magic books. Weapons have distinct playstyles, and characters bring their own abilities. A sky tower adds bonuses as players build it floor by floor; each floor grants a permanent bonus or a temporary buff. The game has Standard, Bullet Hell, and Deckbuilder modes. Bullet Hell increases monster and projectile speed, while both sides take more damage. Deckbuilder increases the monster count and experience gained. Standard Mode is presented as an entry point. Auto-aim is available for gamepads and PC.
