Our take on Dungeons & Keyboards
Combat hinges on typing: speed can deal extra damage, but a typo leaves the player vulnerable to an enemy attack.
What is Dungeons & Keyboards?
Dungeons & Keyboards is a typing game set in the Tower of Verbum, where players enter words to attack enemies.
The word list becomes more difficult as the climb continues, and fast typing can deal extra damage; a typo leaves the player open to an enemy attack. Players gain experience, coins, and relics to improve offensive and defensive stats, buy items, and unlock permanent upgrades. Three spells and risk-based Augmentations add choices during a run. The tower has infinite floors and five themed levels, with a Hardcore Mode for a more restrictive run. Playing online sends the highest floor reached to a Steam leaderboard; the rest of the game can be played without an internet connection.
