Our take on Silent Breach
The defining detail is remote operation: the mission unfolds through a rover controlled from an orbiting station, with photographs and coordinate-based navigation replacing direct exploration.
What is Silent Breach?
Silent Breach is a short cosmic horror game about guiding a remotely operated rover through a planet covered by a mysterious mist.
From the control room of Titan Station, Alex Raine directs the rover toward key locations and photographs them to gather data. Movement is controlled through a central panel, while a coordinate map helps track the rover’s position. The vehicle can suffer cooling malfunctions that require a reboot. A frequency catcher monitors unknown signals, and encounters with unfamiliar organisms require stopping the rover until the danger passes. The game focuses on isolation, environmental uncertainty, and the threat of lethal radiation from the Silent Zone. It is intended to be completed in under an hour.
How Silent Breach plays
