Our take on Signs of Life
Its defining structure is the blend of procedurally generated areas with hand-built locations, giving exploration a mixed authored-and-generated format.
What is Signs of Life?
Signs of Life combines platforming, survival, and sandbox exploration on an alien planet.
The world mixes generated areas with locations built by hand. Players investigate mysterious places, extract blocks and resources, hunt and gather materials, and encounter both hostile and non-hostile creatures. Crafting uses ores, materials, and animal organs to produce weapons, armor, gadgets, furniture, and other equipment. The story follows a survivor from the escape pod of the Hephaestus colony ship, accompanied by the malfunctioning artificial intelligence AGIS, after a disastrous mission near the destination planet. Online co-op multiplayer is included, alongside a setting populated by unusual alien life and some familiar creatures.

Signs of Life compared to similar games
Signs of Life and Mr. Prepper both combine survival with crafting, but Signs of Life places that loop in a sci-fi platforming sandbox focused on alien exploration, mining, and creature encounters.
