Our take on Knightblade
The mix of farming and life activities offers play outside the dungeons, but those systems are simple; the game puts greater emphasis on clearing dungeons.
What is Knightblade?
Knightblade combines a retro-style open world with role-playing, farming, life-simulation, and dungeon-crawling elements.
Create a character from four classes and two genders, settle in a town, and explore the surrounding region. Farming, mining, fishing, citizen quests, relationships, and casino games offer activities outside the dungeons. Combat is turn-based, and clearing each dungeon advances the story about the God of Death and the character’s family legacy. The main story takes about 2 hours to complete, while play can continue afterward without an ending. Farming is simple compared with the focus on dungeon clearing, though players can spend time on other activities or grind in dungeons. Graphic styles and filters can be changed, including a black-and-white option.
