Our take on Shutshimi
Instead of keeping weapons, enemy patterns, and upgrades stable through a conventional run, the game rebuilds its combat conditions every 10 seconds. Its short cycles make rapid adaptation the central structure, while randomized waves and collectible hats add further variation to the shoot’em up format.
What is Shutshimi?
Shütshimi is a randomized shoot’em up in which a muscle-bound fish defends the seven seas from enemy waves and bosses.
Combat and upgrade cycles last 10 seconds, requiring rapid reactions as the rules change. A bullet-morphing shotgun and five weapons provide different attack options, while more than 40 upgrades can be combined with weapons. More than 30 hats add gameplay modifications through hidden effects. The game supports keyboard and controller play, global leaderboards, and local co-op, where players can cooperate or compete for the highest score. Waves can be defeated or navigated, and the structure uses repeated short encounters rather than extended combat stages.
